Noop statement

The noop statement does nothing.

No, really, "noop" stands for "no operation", so it doesn't do anything.

Why does noop even exist?

Wasm has a "nop" instruction, and this statement emits that instruction. Even though it will likely be removed by any optimisation pass run on your code, it was added for completeness and to achieve parity with WebAssembly.
